If you live in areas of the country prone to wildfires, you’re likely used to the perennial warnings about the dangers of wildfire smoke. Furthermore, environmental factors such as cigarette smoke, air pollution (like all that wildfire smoke), and even sun exposure can create stress that generates additional free radicals.

How antioxidants protect our cells

With air quality shifting day by day, there’s no better time to increase our consumption of antioxidants—substances that protect our cells from the damage caused by free radicals.

Antioxidants can be natural or man-made.
