Natural Alternatives to Harmful Insecticides, Part 1 June 23, 2015 Natural alternatives to harmful insecticides. Matthew Jones, CEO of Cedarcide, discusses the full range of cedar-based options to eliminate reliance on toxic bug sprays for humans and pets. He discusses the scientific documentation underlying cedar's bug repellance. Studies now show that commonly used pyrethroids (the successor to now-banned DDT) can literally impair the cognitive performance of young children; pets, too, are exposed to harms when doused with conventional insecticides. Cedarcide is effective against fleas, ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes and scorpions, and forms an effective deterrent to ants. Various formulations are available for indoor and outdoor use, and Cedarcide can even be added to garden misting systems to provide large scale coverage. Click HERE for part 2.
