The Remarkable Potential of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Part 1 May 4, 2016 Dr. Hoffman is joined by Drs. Scott Sherr and Henry Prince of Hyperbaric Medical Solutions to discuss the remarkable potential of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). In addition to well-established conventional applications like healing diabetic foot ulcers, poorly-healing wounds, and deep-seated bone infections, HBOT has shown positive results in treating many other conditions previously considered "off-label": Chronic regional pain syndrome, post-Lyme syndrome, childhood neuro-developmental disorders, post-stroke, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease, traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-concussion syndrome, claudication and angina, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's Disease, sudden-onset hearing or vision loss, even cancer (to augment conventional therapies like radiation or as an adjunct to the ketogenic diet). The common denominator seems to be where lack of circulation, poor healing, and inflammation retard recovery. What are the safety considerations? Who's a candidate? What do the treatments entail? Click HERE for part 2.
