- Passing DSHEA: We played a pivotal role in passing the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994, laying the foundation for dietary supplement regulation in the U.S.
- Expanding Information Access: Through groundbreaking lawsuits, we’ve fought for and won the right to provide consumers with more information about the benefits of dietary supplements, like folate being pivotal to preventing neural tube defects.
- Protecting Critical Medicines: When the FDA targeted essential medicines like compounded bioidentical hormone estriol, ANH stepped in and forced the FDA to back down. But there’s much more to do—we need to protect access to CBD, homeopathy, natural peptides, and much more.
